The Logistics Systems Engineer will support the configuration of the logistics systems in our manufacturing facility including WMS, Kanban, and material planning systems (MRP). The Logistics Systems Engineer will collaborate with the Manufacturing and IT organizations as a logistics representative.
Work cross-functionally to gather user requirements, design, configure, test, and implement systems and applications
Recommend new features or changes to configuration/workflows based on user feedback
Troubleshoot and resolve any logistics systems-related hardware, software, user access, etc.
Coordinate new software releases, fixes, and upgrades with technical teams and users
Monitors system performance and usage to maintain security and reliability
Knowledge of supply chain including logistics planning, warehousing, shipping, and transportation in a manufacturing setting (preferably automotive manufacturing).
Experience in MySQL and Python for ETL
Experience building dashboards and/or generating actionable reports
Ability to identify and understand logical relationships within databases and troubleshoot issues
Strong analytical, critical thinking, organization, and communication skills
