The Vehicle Integration team at Zoox is responsible for defining vehicle attribute and feature requirements and working with cross-functional teams to integrate and validate all systems within the vehicle. You will be challenged to validate vehicle systems to demonstrate delivery of our world class product. We are looking for an engineer that is passionate about autonomous driving and has strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and execute the vehicle-level validation plan for all vehicle-level features
Create test cases for all vehicle-level features: both product and customer centric
Work with feature integration team, product team, hardware, software, and electrical engineers, and HMI to define success criteria for the test cases
Conduct validation tests
Document all validation test results in written form
Lead investigation of issues identified during testing
Lead and track cross-functional validation efforts to assure high success for first-time through vehicle-level validation
Identify and establish a regression testing suite and cadence for applicable features
Lead report out of metrics for feature validation
Support homologation test case creation and validation
Qualifications
BS or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering or Associate Degree/Skilled Trade with experience
Experience writing test cases and test reports for feature or vehicle requirements
Experience testing vehicle systems (electrical, mechanical, HMI, dynamic, quasi-static, inspection)
Experience managing test assets
Knowledge of vehicle engineering or software validation process
Familiarity with CAN networks and vehicle system architecture
Excellent writing skills, organization, verbal communication, leadership skills, and deadline
Bonus Qualifications
Working knowledge of requirements management tools (Polarion, JIRA)
Experience diagnosing issues on CAN and LIN
Project management experience
LINUX and Python familiarity
