As our Manager, Warehouse Logistics you will be responsible for day-to-day operations for the manufacturing warehouse including receiving, stocking, inventory management, shipping, and other warehouse-related activities. You will also be responsible for planning, developing, and improving warehouse processes within the network. Additionally, you are responsible for hiring and developing the warehouse teams across the network. 

You will be responsible for assisting our transition toward being a more production-ready company.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a strategy for making sure all our materials are delivered on time to our internal customers at the most efficient cost during a high growth environment
  • Develop existing warehouse team and play an active role in hiring activities to grow the team
  • Establish the process to operate and maintain in optimum condition our warehouse equipment
  • Develop and implement the safety guidelines to ensure team safety
  • Develop standardized work processes within the warehouse
  • Manage day-to-day operations of warehouse activities, including receiving, kitting, cycle counting within multiple facilities 
  • Support in the monitoring and management of budget forecast and performance against forecast; develop and implement corrective actions when performance is not in line with budget
  • Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure continuous improvement in cost, service, and quality
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure Logistics is providing high-quality service. Including but limited to, Zoox Logistics, Engineering, Service Operations

Qualifications

  • Experience with WMS systems
  • Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and commute to different warehouse locations – must be flexible
  • Strong work ethic; able to independently own and drive projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Take previous reflections and learnings and use them to improve processes, systems, and overall work quality.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, team development, and customer service
  • BA/BS Degree plus 5-10 years relevant experience in the warehouse operations 
  • 3 years of experience managing associates and warehouse operations
