Zoox’s Machine Learning Infrastructure team operates in the intersection of build engineering, internal software development, and applied ML research. We maintain the base layer of ML tools, deep learning frameworks, and inference libraries used by the research teams, add additional features, tooling, automation, and applications, and improve ML models in collaboration with the applied research teams. We advocate for strong software engineering fundamentals with our customer teams. We catalog the features, quirks, limitations, and bugs present in the systems we maintain so that we can best advise our customer teams when they encounter them.
Zoox is currently hiring for manager roles for both the Training and Inference subteams of the Machine Learning Infrastructure team.

You will be responsible for hiring for and maintaining the health of your ML Infra subteam. You will help to grow and coach your direct reports and support the continued success of their careers.
