Zoox is looking for an experienced and highly motivated project manager to join its People Experience team. The focus of this role, which will report to the Chief of Staff for People Experience, will be to understand the department’s key priorities and goals, and develop, align, and drive the execution of project plans accordingly. This role will have a broad understanding of all functions within the People Experience team, as well as how they relate to and are prioritized in accordance with Zoox’s broader strategy and objectives. The role will also drive cross-team collaboration, communication, and coordination of HR programs and processes to help ensure deliverables are understood and met successfully.  


  • Lead complex, cross-functional Talent Management projects from conceptualization to execution
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to develop, implement, and oversee key people programs across the organization
  • Develop and manage project plans to drive to successful execution of programs
  • Partner with critical cross-functional partners on the People Team and leaders across the business to incorporate feedback and address interdependencies across programs and initiatives
  • Partner with Zoox’s People Analytics team to analyze program effectiveness and understand organizational needs to continuously improve programs and drive strategic priorities
  • Work cross-functionally to evolve and optimize Zoox’s new hire onboarding processes and orientation programming
  • Develop project plans and schedules that integrate resources, tasks, and timelines to achieve key milestones related to Talent Management
  • Facilitate and assist in articulation and communication of accurate expectations of project progress, project prioritization, and project delivery timelines
  • Build and sustain positive and productive relationships with cross-functional internal stakeholders to ensure delivery of program goals
  • Identify areas of operational improvement across Zoox’s People Experience team and help develop plans for process changes and issue resolution


  • 6+ years of project management experience, preferably at a high-growth organization
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, communicating with stakeholders, setting expectations, problem-solving, and prioritizing
  • Knowledge of and experience using various program management methodologies, practices, and tools to lead cross-functional projects to deliver high impact strategic initiatives
  • Flexible and able to adjust methods and approaches to improve engagement and enhance collaboration among stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated strong conceptual and planning skills to analyze projects of broad and diverse scope

Bonus Qualifications

  • Direct HR program management experience preferred
  • Project management certification (PMI or Agile training or certification preferred)
  • Successful coordination and/or support of core talent management programs such as onboarding, job architecture, career development, internal mobility, employee engagement, and/or performance management
  • Exceptional communication skills: demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, and impress effectively at various levels
  • Organizational change management experience
  • Experience executing corporate-wide initiatives: defining project plans, coordinating resources, managing implementation activities, and developing all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support
  • Experience in the design and content development of training materials and process resource guides
