The Advanced Hardware Engineering team is looking for an engineer excited about the verification of perception sensor safety mechanisms to join our Sensor HIL team. The successful candidate will augment the existing HIL test infrastructure with sensor emulation and fault injection capabilities, as well as develop a suite of automated tests for verification of sensor safety mechanisms.

Zoox is developing the first ground-up, fully autonomous vehicle fleet and the supporting ecosystem required to bring this technology to market. Qualifications

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or relevant disciplines
  • 3+ years of industry experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python and C++
  • Familiarity with build systems, version control, and test methodologies
  • Familiarity with networking protocols for data transfer and timing (e.g. TCP/IP, UDP, PTP)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experienced with integration testing and electronics (debugging, reading schematics)
  • Familiarity with console and graphical UI frameworks
  • Experience with safety-critical systems
